How to read the map
The rain radar shows recent and near-future precipitation. Greens are light rain, yellows and oranges are moderate to heavy, and deeper reds indicate intense downpours or storms. Frames marked Observed are measured; frames marked Forecast are a short-term projection.
Each data overlay uses the color scale shown in its legend — for example, cooler colors for lower temperatures and warmer colors for higher ones. The wind layer draws arrows pointing in the direction the wind is blowing, colored by speed.
All readings come from live weather services and are sampled across many locations, so overlays highlight broad patterns rather than street-level precision. For an exact local forecast, search your city on the home page or view the 7-day forecast.
